Year 5 Learn to Surf

The Year 5 children had a wonderful day learning how to surf at South Shields beach.  We were lucky to go on such a beautiful day.  The children all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was amazing to see so many of them managing to stand up  on the surfboard.  The children demonstrated resilience, perseverance and the ability to take risks and be willing to fail.  A huge thankyou to all the parents/carers who helped us on the day - your support is much appreciated.
