Year 5/6 Sufiya Ahmed Author Visit

We were delighted to welcome author Sufiya Ahmed to our school for a very special visit. She spoke to the children about her journey to becoming an author and shared insights into the writing process.

Sufiya also talked about the importance of having a main character from an ethnic minority background, explaining how this can inspire others and help children see themselves represented in stories. The children were thoroughly engaged and asked some thoughtful questions.

Sufiya kindly signed books, and many children were excited to purchase their own copies. She was a truly lovely person, and it was a lovely morning enjoyed by all. 📚✨
