Year 5/6 Abstract Art

The Year 5/6 have thoroughly enjoyed their art topic all about displacement. They have studied the art work of Schwitter and Kandinsky. Both abstract artists were displaced from Germany during World War Two and became forced migrants. The children produced one collage inspired by Schwitter and a mixed medium piece inspired by Kandinsky using water colours and oil pastels. Enjoy a gallery of the children's work below.
