Year 4 shell structures Day 2
Welcome to Year 4 Shell Structures Day 2 at Wardley Primary! The children built on what they finished from day 1, using the skills they have already practised to develop stronger, more accurate shell structures. We also shared simple explanations and showing how careful measurements and teamwork help ideas become real models.
Today the day, children also explore practical materials and design features, including money boxes, so they can see how shell structures can be both functional and creative. You may spot ribbing as part of the structure—this helped add strength and shape, making the shell more stable.
