The Star Suite Street

This week, Miss Oliphant’s class have been learning all about their homes and families.  The children have been taking part in a range of creative activities linked to the theme including building homes using construction kits, drawing members of their family and engaging in role play in the home corner.  The staff have been particularly impressed at the children’s creativity and focus in their art task which took them 4 days to complete.  They made a mixed media picture of their house which involved applying their skills of painting, printing, drawing and cutting.  The pictures have been displayed in the classroom in our Star Suite Street and they look fantastic!
