Reception reading meeting

Last week, we welcomed lots of the children's grown ups into school to talk about the importance of early reading. 

The children then were able to spend some time with their special people reading stories from our 'Author of the Half Term' selection. They read books by Julia Donaldson, Ed Vere and Jill Murphy to name a few. 

The children loved sharing new stories with their loved ones and were excited to start our 'Author of the Half Term' projects.
