RE in 1b - Shabbat

This half term, we have been learning about the Jewish celebration Shabbat. We learnt that Shabbat is a way for Jewish families to remember the story of Creation through rest, prayer and family time. Some families may light candles and say a blessing, drink from Kiddish cups and have Challah bread on the table. We created our own Shabbat experience in the classroom and designed our own Kiddish cups!
