Mono Printing in Year 2

Year 2 have been looking at the work of the Boyle Family this half term. 

They have explored how art doesn't have to be beautiful but can instead try and capture small details that people would usually miss.  As a class, we spent an afternoon in the yard capturing different textures through crayon rubbings.  These rubbings were then used to create a print.

It was amazing seeing how the process ending in some really effective looking prints.
