Laing Art Gallery and Theatre Royal with Year 3

Recently, Year 3 have visited The Laing Art Gallery and Theatre Royal to enhance our experiences and explore the arts. In the Laing, the children participated in a 'Portraits' workshop, visiting the gallery and discussing the art. The class then created their own portraits, inspired by one from the gallery. 

At the Theatre Royal today, we were given a tour of the theatre and informed about the purpose of each area, what happens during a show and the roles of over 200 crew members.
