Hindu Temple
Yesterday, Year 6 visited the Hindu temple in Newcastle and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Hindu faith. They asked lots of intriguing questions and were fascinated by the deities in the temple.
After being shown how Hindus pray and listening to some Hindu worship, the children loved the opportunity to dress up and explore the temple further. They also enjoyed playing some traditional instruments. To finish, the children were shown the Hindu Puja tray and were blessed before leaving.
The children described the experience as excellent, outstanding, relaxing and fun.
A huge thank you to ISKCON Temple in Newcastle for welcoming us and making the visit so memorable!
