Hall Hill Farm 2026

What an unforgettable day our nursery children had on their recent trip to the farm! From the moment we arrived, excitement filled the air as the children eagerly explored everything the countryside had to offer.

One of the highlights of the day was feeding the adorable lambs. The children were fascinated to get so close and loved helping to give them their milk. There were lots of smiles (and a few giggles!) as the lambs eagerly drank from their bottles.

The children also had the chance to hold some very special small animals. They were incredibly gentle and caring as they cuddled fluffy chicks, soft rabbits, and cute guinea pigs. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they interacted with the animals so calmly and kindly.

As we walked around the farm, the children spotted a variety of larger animals, including sheep, goats, cows, and pigs. There were lots of conversations about the different sounds the animals make and what they like to eat, making it a fantastic learning experience.

There was plenty of time for play too! The children had great fun exploring the soft play area, climbing, sliding, and burning off some energy with their friends. Laughter filled the space as they enjoyed this part of the day together.

Another big adventure was the tractor ride! Everyone climbed aboard and held on tight as we were taken on a fun journey around the farm. It was a real highlight and gave the children a different view of the surroundings.

Overall, it was a fantastic day full of new experiences, learning, and joy. The children were beautifully behaved and represented the nursery wonderfully. We are so proud of how they engaged with the animals, supported each other, and embraced every moment.

We’re sure this is a trip they will be talking about for a long time!
