Endangered Animals - Reception

This week in Reception, we have been learning all about endangered animals.
We were very sad to discover that many beautiful animals around the world are endangered and at risk of extinction. This helped us understand how important it is to care for our planet and its creatures.

We worked together as a team to find out where endangered animals live, using maps and non-fiction books to help with our research. We also created safe, clean habitats for animals and explored how to protect sea creatures from pollution in our water tray. Along the way, we learned about the importance of recycling and how it can help the environment.

We were fascinated to learn about Sir David Attenborough and the important work he does to protect animals and the natural world. He has inspired us to think about how we can help too.

We love animals in Reception and are becoming great planet protectors!
