Anglo-Saxons and Vikings
Year 5 and 6 had a fantastic time this week taking part in an exciting workshop delivered by Durham University, supporting their learning about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.
During the session, the children became historians, exploring a wide range of Viking artefacts and making thoughtful inferences about how and why they were used. This hands-on experience helped to develop their critical thinking skills and brought their learning to life.
The children thoroughly enjoyed handling the objects and did an excellent job showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the workshop!
