Foundation Statements
Wardley Primary School seeks to provide the highest possible standards of teaching and learning within an ethos that nurtures personal and academic development.
Being Healthy
Pupils have a very good understanding how to live a healthy lifestyle. They are involved in a range of activities to support physical, mental and emotional well-being both in the curriculum and beyond. During school, pupils engage in eating healthily, drinking water regularly and taking part in at least 2 hours of PE and sport a week.
Staying Safe
The ethos of the school ensures that children feel safe and secure. Positive relationships allow pupils who feel threatened, to confide in staff who can then give appropriate support based on clear and effective systems. Children have a developed capacity to assess risks and respond sensibly to ensure that they and others are safe from harm.
Enjoyment
Children love coming to school. There are high levels of attendance and children are punctual. Children participate in all aspects of school with enthusiasm and when doing so co-operate with others extremely well. In school and when representing the school outside, pupils’ attitudes and behaviour are exemplary.
