Olympians of the Future

Tuesday afternoon was a glorious day for KS1 Sports Day at Wardley Primary School. The children were fit and ready to go and with all the spectators cheering, everyone was excited for the challenges ahead. The children all ran their hearts out and tried their absolute best in every single race. Some of which included: the hoop and beanbag race, the quoit relay race, quoit on the head race and the boys and girls sprint races. The children were lucky enough to be joined by a real sporting hero, Tom Denham, who is representing GB in the 2012 Olympics in London. A huge Thank You to Tom and all the spectators who made it a real enjoyable afternoon and a massive Well Done to all the children, you were all FANTASTIC!!!! A special Congratualtions to the blue team for winning the Wardley Primary Sports Day Trophy.
