Year 1/2 had an exciting afternoon making bird feeders yesterday. We've been collecting our bottles for weeks, and now it was finally time to get down to the making of the feeders. First we had to cut our bottles to the right size, which was quite tricky but we managed. Then we had to hole punch the bottles to thread the string through. Finally we filled the feeders with delicious bird food. The best part was taking them outside and hanging them in the bird garden. All we have to do now is wait for the birds to come flocking. We'll be waiting with binoculars.
