The engineering club has started again this half term and is in the midst of building a wooden go-kart.

The new members of the club have been involved in using various tools to assemble the flat-pack kit. So far we have sorted and checked the materials, measured the length of screws and bolts and used a screwdriver, hammer and torque wrench to build the frame.

Once this go-kart is assembled we will be testing to check it doesn't fall apart and then creating some designs to paint on the frame.

We will keep you informed of our progress and show you what the final product looks like.
