Wardley Sweepstake Winners

As part of the 'They think it's all over...' topic, the children in Key Stage One took part in a sweep stake to see who's drawn team would win the World Cup. The children were also set a homework task of creating a presentation all about the country they had drawn out of the hat.

The children who drew the eventual winners Spain were:

Mr Evans' Class - Bethany Hutchinson
Miss Fraser's Class - Mya Kane
Mr Burfield's Class - Kevin Brunning

it was fun when we picked a country out a of hat and we had to write about that country which you got out of the hat. Bethany won because she got Spain.
