Wardley Handwriting Awards

handwriting award

Mr Malik held a Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 assembly this week to give out certificates and prizes to our excellent handwriters. The awards were given for 'most improved handwriting' and 'neatest handwriting'.

Our school is really focusing on achievement in handwriting and Mr Malik was really proud to be able to hand out pens, pencils and rubbers to the children who had done really well. He said: 'It was a really hard decision to pick the winners because there were so many good writers and so many children had improved. Luckily, I will be giving some more awards for handwriting next half-term so lots of pupils will get the praise that they deserve.'
