Future Cricket Heroes?
This week, as part of our 'Sporting Heroes' topic, we have been learning all about the game of cricket. We have found out about the history of cricket, the equipment needed for the sport and the rules of the game. We have also been finding out about cricket in our local area.
On Tuesday 2nd June, we were lucky enough to be able to go to Felling Cricket Club and learn some cricket skills. We had the opportunity to try our hand at bowling, fielding and batting throughout the afternoon. We all had a fantastic time. Nigel from Felling Cricket Club was very helpful.
