The Community Dog Warden visit

The Dog Warden came to visit Wardley Primary pupils to deliver a special assembly to the children in the school.

He told the children all about the role of a dog warden and how we should look after and take care of dogs. The dog warden brought his own cuddly dog Archie to show us how to care for dogs. He also explained to us what we should do if we ever see a stray dog in the local community.

The dog warden told us a very important massage to pass on to all parents and carers- if you live in Gateshead and have a dog over six months old, you can have them tagged for free. Just click on the Gateshead Council website for more details.
