Nursery Christmas Activities

Over the last week, the nursery children have been engaged with a number of exciting Christmas activities. This included a Santa's Workshop, where the children were involved with making lists of toys, designing, making and delivering the presents on Santa's sleigh.

The children have been role-playing the Christmas story with small world figures. They also drew the road that Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem.

The children were working on developing their pencil control by colouring in Christmas pictures, dot to dots and cards.

They have been developing their Knowledge and Understanding of the World by exploring various Christmas artefacts using their senses on the investigation table.

The children also developed their creative skill with adults by making Christmas cards, calendars and a selection of Christmas art, using a selection of media.

As you can see, a fun time was had by all- lots of budding artists for the future!
