Operation Christmas Child

As part of our committment to supporting charities, we took part in the Shoe Box appeal, which looks to provide gifts at Christmas for children across the world who otherwise would have nothing.

We set a target to collect 75 boxes in total with bronze, silver and gold certificates going to each class depending on the number of boxes collected.

Staff, children and families have been extremely generous with the final total number of boxes being 98!

The classes have been awarded the following certificates for their contributions:

Nursery - Bronze
Reception A - Bronze
Reception B - Bronze

Y1/2a - Bronze
Y1/2b - Silver
Y1/2c - Silver

Y3/4a - Bronze
Y3/4b - Bronze
Y3/4c - Gold

Y5/6a - Bronze
Y5/6b - Bronze
Y5/6c - Bronze

The children at Wardley Primary have once again proved that they understand how lucky they are to have such loving families, especially around times like Christmas, and that they can share some of their love and kindness with other children who aren't so fortunate.
