How we have made Wardley a better place to live

In Key Stage One, the children have been finding out all about Wardley. After a walk around the local area, we decided what we liked and didn't like about the locality.

The children felt the park and shops were thier favourite places but they were spoilt by the amount of litter, dog fouling and grafetti they discovered.

After much discussion, the children decided that they could go and tidy up the park and shops to make it a better place for the people of Wardley to live in.

During the children's ICT lessons, they created posters, using Mircosoft Publisher,to place in the park to remind the public to put rubbish in the bin.
