School Dinner Menu
After half term, there will be a one option meal system which we will trial for the six weeks leading up to Easter.
From the survey sent out a few weeks ago, the feedback from parents and carers was in support of trying a ‘one option’ menu. Subsequently, we have surveyed all the children about their preferences and spoke to a focus group from across the phases for a more detailed look at a possible menu.
It is important to note that there is still a vegetarian choice; however, this will generally be the same meal as the regular choice but without the meat content.
It is advisable that parents/carers sit with their child and look at the menu in order to be aware of what they will and will not eat. It can then be decided when a packed lunch may be more appropriate on certain days.
